platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violations may result in account
suspension or termination.
⚠️ Immediate Suspension: Serious violations (fraud, harassment, illegal activities) will
result in immediate account suspension without warning.
1. Permitted Uses ✅
✓You MAY:
- Create anonymous listings for legitimate businesses seeking sale, capital, or partnerships
- Browse listings and send confidential enquiries to sellers
- Use the platform's messaging system for M&A-related communications
- Upload documents (teaser, IM) after establishing mutual interest
- Request and execute NDAs through the platform
- Use search and filter functions to find relevant opportunities
- Maintain multiple accounts for different business roles (with transparency)
Example of Good Practice: "Anonymous Manufacturing Business in Germany seeking €5-10M
revenue buyer. Established 15+ years, profitable, succession reason. Teaser available post-NDA."
2. Prohibited Uses ❌
✗You MAY NOT:
A. Listing Violations
- Post fake, fraudulent, or non-existent businesses
- Misrepresent financials, ownership, or business status
- List businesses without proper authorization to sell
- Include identifying information in public listings (names, addresses, URLs)
- Use misleading titles or descriptions to attract enquiries
B. Communication Violations
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or phishing attempts
- Circumvent the anonymity system to reveal identities without consent
- Use platform communications for non-M&A purposes (dating, marketing, etc.)
- Impersonate other users, companies, or MERGERSALES staff
C. Platform Abuse
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse engineer the platform
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools without permission
- Overload systems with excessive requests or data
- Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or manipulate ratings
- Use the platform to facilitate illegal activities
Example of Violation: "Acme Corporation (www.acme.com) at 123 Main Street for sale.
Contact CEO John Smith at john@acme.com or 555-0123." → PROHIBITED: Contains
identifying info
3. Confidentiality Requirements
When using MERGERSALES, you must:
- Respect Anonymity: Do not pressure other users to reveal identity prematurely
- Protect Information: Do not share confidential information received through the
platform with third parties
- Use NDAs: Execute proper NDAs before requesting sensitive documents
- Secure Your Account: Use strong passwords and enable 2FA if available
4. Financial & Legal Compliance
- All transactions must comply with applicable laws (securities, antitrust, export controls, etc.)
- You are responsible for obtaining necessary legal, financial, and tax advice
- Platform use must not violate third-party rights (intellectual property, contracts, etc.)
- Report suspicious activities or potential violations to compliance@mergersales.com
5. Enforcement & Consequences

6. Reporting Violations

We may update this Policy as our platform evolves. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
